Uses

Zinc Base Die Cast Alloy #12 is very versatile in that it is suited to Sand and Permanent Mold Casting in addition to Die Casting. ZA-12 is slightly stronger than the similar ZA-8 Alloy. ZA-12 is a good zinc-base substitute for cast iron or permanent molded aluminum.
