Of all the Zinc Die Casting Alloys, Z-2 offers the best machine finish. Though the strongest and hardest of the Zinc Base Die Cast Alloys, Z-2 is not widely used. Usually employed for die casting, Z-2 can also be useful in gravity casting applications.
