Uses

Zinc Base Die Cast Alloy #27 is very versatile in that it is suited to Sand and Permanent Mold Casting in addition to Die Casting. The main advantage of ZA-27 is that the high aluminum content makes this alloy far more lightweight than other ZA or Zinc Base Die Cast Alloys, while still delivering high performance characteristics.
